R Vriksha Mahto, born on 29 October 1940, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Bihar cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Director, Commissioner, Additional Secretary, Managing Director, and District Magistrate. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Energy Department, held from 1 July 1999 to 31 October 2000. Throughout his career, Mahto contributed to the administrative framework of Bihar until his retirement.
