A graduate in Mathematics, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Under Secretary, Private Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, Additional Secretary, Secretary, Special Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, and Chief Secretary to the Government. His most recent position was Chairman at Gujarat’s Industries and Commerce Department from 1 February 1988 to 1 September 1990. Throughout his career, Chandramaoul contributed to the administration of Gujarat until his retirement.
