R V Chandramaoul, born on 24 September 1932, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1955 batch, Gujarat cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Mathematics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Under Secretary, Private Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, Additional Secretary, Secretary, Special Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, and Chief Secretary to the Government. His most recent position was Chairman of the Industries and Commerce Department, Gujarat, from 1 February 1988 to 1 September 1990.
