R Sudalaikannan, born on 19 May 1960, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2001 Tamil Nadu cadre. Over his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Transport Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Joint Secretary Director, and Chief Executive Officer. His most recent role was as State Project Director of Sarva Siksha Abhiyan from 5 March 2018 to 31 May 2020. Throughout his tenure, he contributed to multiple departments within the Tamil Nadu government before retiring from service.
