R Subba Rao, born on June 8, 1950, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1992 batch, Andhra Pradesh cadre. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Director, Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Special Collector, Deputy Secretary, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Commissioner in the Department of Land Administration, from May 1, 2008, to June 30, 2010.
