R Sridharan, born on 16 September 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Karnataka cadre. He holds qualifications in Graduate Accountancy, P.G. Business Law, and Company Management. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Commissioner, Joint Secretary, Additional Secretary, Principal Secretary, and Chief Vigilance Officer. His roles extended to Executive Director, Managing Director, Secretary, and Officer on Special Duty to Minister. Most recently, he was Member Secretary Equivalent in the Department of Space from March to September 2017. His extensive experience spans multiple senior administrative positions within the government.
