R S Singh, born on January 2, 1940, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 batch of the Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in English Literature. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Superintendent, Special Deputy Collector, Revenue Divisional Officer, District Supply Officer, Assistant Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Secretary, Administration Officer, Executive Director, Deputy Election Commissioner, and Managing Director. His most recent position was Managing Director in the Industries Department from July 1, 1995, to January 31, 1998. Singh’s extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Andhra Pradesh government.
