R S Jakhar, born on May 4, 1955, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2004 batch of the Rajasthan cadre. He served as District Collector and District Magistrate in multiple tenures, including his most recent role in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, from September 27, 2012, to May 31, 2015. Additionally, he held the position of Managing Director during his career. Throughout his service, Jakhar contributed to the administration of Rajasthan until his retirement.
