R S Jagtap, born on 20 September 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2008 Maharashtra cadre. He holds an M.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and an M.A. in Governance and Development from the University of Sussex. During his career, he served as District Collector, Chief Executive Officer, and Additional Divisional Commissioner. His most recent position was Director General at the Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA) in Pune, from 12 March 2022 to 30 September 2023.
