Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Deputy Director, General Manager, Magistrate, Secretary, Administrator, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Officer on Special Duty to Minister, Additional Deputy Commissioner, and Deputy Secretary. His most recent position was Deputy Secretary in the Environment, Forests and Wildlife Department from August 1, 1992, to April 30, 1996.
