He holds a B.Tech. in Electronics from the Indian Institute of Technology. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, District Magistrate, Executive Magistrate, Chief Executive Officer, Additional District Magistrate, Officer on Special Duty to Minister, Under Secretary, and Sub Divisional Officer. His most recent designation was On E O L from January 11, 2012, to July 15, 2013.
