R. Rajesh Kumar, born on November 7, 1979, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2007 batch, Uttarakhand cadre. He holds a B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree from Tamil Nadu Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Chennai. Currently, he serves as Secretary, Housing & Rajya Sampati, Uttarakhand since January 17, 2026. His previous roles include Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Managing Director, and Additional Secretary. He received the Safe City Award at the Smart Cities India Awards 2022 in New Delhi. He is proficient in English and Tamil and remains in active service.
