R R Chavan, born on 25 May 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1997 Maharashtra cadre. He holds an M.B.A. in Marketing Management and a graduate degree in Science. During his career, he served as District Collector and District Magistrate, as well as Chief Executive Officer. His most recent position was Commissioner in the Sugar Department of Maharashtra. He has been honored with the Pune Ratna Puraskar for his service.
