He held the position of Additional Secretary in the Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department, Gujarat, from 30 November 2009 to 31 March 2012. Mr. Chauhan is a graduate and has served as Director in previous roles. His career in the IAS reflects his commitment to public administration within the Gujarat cadre.
