R Parthasarthy, born on 11 August 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1963 batch of the Gujarat cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Chemistry and a graduate degree in Chemistry. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Additional Chief Secretary, Managing Director, Secretary, Executive Director, Director, Joint Secretary, Deputy Secretary, District Development Officer, Joint Director, Executive Officer, and Assistant Collector. His most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary in the Agriculture and Cooperation Department of Gujarat from 1 June 1994 to 31 August 1996.
