R P Tyagi, born on January 1, 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. A graduate by education, he has held several key positions during his career, including Special Secretary Director, Special Secretary, Vice Chairperson, and Joint Development Commissioner. His most recent designation was Director, a role he served in from May 1, 1999, to December 31, 2001. Throughout his tenure, Tyagi contributed to various administrative functions within the Uttar Pradesh cadre before retiring from service.
