R P Sinha, born on 27 November 1937, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Bihar cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree and a graduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Sub-Divisional Officer, Junior Scale, Deputy Commissioner, Under Secretary, Deputy Development Commissioner, Joint Secretary, and District Collector and Magistrate. His most recent position was Administrator in the Urban Development Department from 1 July 1994 to 30 November 1995.
