R P Singh, born on 25 July 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Additional Commissioner, Joint Development Commissioner, and Assistant Commissioner. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Department of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, from December 1995 to July 1997. Singh's service reflects a broad administrative experience within the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
