R P Dwivedy, born on April 9, 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Bihar cadre. He holds a graduate degree and a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Sub-Divisional Officer, Regional Development Officer, and Joint Secretary. From March 1, 1992, to April 30, 1997, he held the position of Joint Secretary. He was associated with the Land Revenue Department as the Director of Census Operations.
