R N Mishra, born on July 1, 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Odisha cadre. A graduate in Commerce, he has served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Charge Officer, S D O, Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Executive Officer, Director, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was District Collector and Magistrate from April 1, 1993, to June 30, 1996. He also held the role of Director of Census Operations in the Land Revenue Department. Throughout his career, Mishra contributed to the administrative framework of Odisha until his retirement.
