R N Bani, born on April 18, 1934, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Chemistry and a graduate degree in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Managing Director, Project Administrator, Settlement Officer, Magistrate (City), and Administrator. His most recent position was Deputy Secretary at Madhya Pradesh from September 1, 1990, to April 1, 1992, within the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.
