R M Shah, born on 11 October 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 batch of the Gujarat cadre. He holds a graduate degree and has served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Director, Registrar, District Development Officer, and Managing Director. His most recent position was Managing Director at Gujarat from 1 February 2001 to 31 October 2002. He was associated with the Department of Handicrafts and Handlooms during his service. Throughout his career, Shah contributed to multiple administrative roles within the Gujarat cadre before retiring from service.
