R M Pillai, born on 30 April 1951, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1993 batch, AGMUT cadre. He holds a graduate degree and has served in various capacities including Director, Commissioner, Additional Secretary, and Deputy Commissioner. His most recent position was Director in the Higher Education Department from 24 December 2009 to 30 April 2011. Throughout his career, Pillai contributed to administrative functions within his cadre until his retirement.
