R M Patel, born on 10 October 1950, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1997 batch of the Gujarat cadre. He holds a graduate degree and has served in various administrative roles, including Joint Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and District Development Officer. His most recent position was District Collector at Narmada, Gujarat, from 26 March 2007 to 31 October 2010. Throughout his career, Patel contributed to the governance and development of Gujarat until his retirement.
