R K Sharma, born on January 5, 1941, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Additional District Magistrate, Additional Commissioner, and multiple terms as Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Joint Secretary in the Human Resources Department from January 1, 1990, to November 8, 1992. Mr. Sharma’s extensive service reflects his long-standing commitment to administrative roles within the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
