R K Prasad, born on 26 February 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 Bihar cadre. He holds a graduate and postgraduate degree in Political Science. During his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and Joint Secretary.
