R K Patel, born on 19 August 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2009 batch, Gujarat cadre. He holds an M.Com. in Accounting and Auditing from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. During his career, he served as District Development Officer and Project Director. His most recent position was Additional Development Commissioner at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from 3 September 2019 to 31 August 2021, in the Panchayat and Rural Development Department.
