R Jayaraman, born on 17 May 1939, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 batch, Tamil Nadu cadre. He served in the Department of Health and Family Welfare, holding the position of Director from 1 August 1996 to 31 May 1997. Throughout his career, he contributed to the administrative functions within his cadre until his retirement.
