R. H. Thakare, born on March 20, 1965, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2010 Maharashtra cadre. He holds an M.Sc. degree from Amravati University. Currently serving as Additional Commissioner at Nagpur since July 14, 2021, he works in the Tribal Development department. Throughout his career, Thakare has held several key positions, including District Collector, Additional Commissioner, Additional Divisional Commissioner, and Chief Executive Officer. He continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to administrative functions within Maharashtra.
