R Girish, born on 15 July 1970, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2010 batch, Karnataka cadre. He holds a B.E. and an M.Tech. degree. Currently, he serves as the Director at Bengaluru in the Mines and Geology Department since 6 June 2023. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Director, CEO, and Executive Member. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
