R G Gohil, born on December 2, 1964, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2007 Gujarat cadre. He holds a B.Com. degree in Accounting and Auditing. Currently serving as Secretary at Gandhinagar in the Urban Development and Urban Housing Department (Housing and Nirmal Gujarat) since April 5, 2023, Gohil has previously held positions including Collector & District Magistrate, Collector, and District Development Officer. He was recognized as the Best District Development Officer for the year 2015-16. Fluent in Gujarati, he continues to serve in the IAS with a focus on urban development initiatives.
