R D Pathak, born on May 4, 1936, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. Throughout his career, he held several key positions including Under Secretary, Joint Secretary, Additional Director, Special Secretary, and Joint Secretary. His most recent appointment was as District Collector, serving from July 1, 1992, to May 1, 1994. Mr. Pathak’s extensive service in the IAS reflects his long-standing commitment to public administration in Uttar Pradesh.
