R Chinnadorai, born on April 7, 1935, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 batch of the Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Economics and a graduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Personal Assistant, Assistant Commissioner, Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Joint Director, District Revenue Officer, and Secretary. His most recent position was Director in the Local Self Government Department from March 1, 1991, to April 1, 1993.
