R B Jha, born on January 2, 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Bihar cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree and a graduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Director, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Director in the Land Revenue Department, specifically as Director of Census Operations, from November 1, 1992, to February 29, 1996.
