R B Barad, born on September 1, 1964, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2006 Gujarat cadre. He holds a B.Com. in Accounting and Auditing from Sardar Patel University and an LL.B. in Labour Laws from Gujarat University. Throughout his career, he served as District Collector and District Magistrate, Municipal Commissioner, and Deputy Municipal Commissioner. From January 17, 2022, he was Chairman of the Gujarat Pollution Control Board in Gandhinagar. He received the SKOCH Award Environment Gold twice for his contributions.
