R Arjun, born on 21 September 1984, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2010 batch, assigned to the West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.E. degree from Anna University Chennai and an M.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Science. Currently, he serves as the Secretary of the Commission for Protection of Child Rights, a position he assumed on 17 May 2023. Proficient in English and Tamil, R Arjun continues to be an active member of the Indian Administrative Service.
