Pushpendra Rajput, born on 18 February 1976, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1999 batch from the Himachal Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. from IIT Delhi and an M.B.A. from Amity University. Currently, he serves as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi (since 18 March 2024). His previous roles include Additional Secretary, Chief Electoral Officer, Excise & Taxation Commissioner, Secretary to Governor, Divisional Commissioner, and Deputy Commissioner, among others. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the IAS.
