Currently, he serves as Joint Secretary in the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi (since 18 March 2024). His previous roles include Additional Secretary, Chief Electoral Officer, Excise & Taxation Commissioner, Secretary to Governor, Divisional Commissioner, and Deputy Commissioner among others. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
