Puneet Yadav, born on 18 September 1974, is a 1999 batch IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Tech. from IIT Delhi, an M.A. from BR Ambedkar University Agra, and an M.B.A. from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. Currently, he serves as Joint Secretary in the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, New Delhi, since 15 September 2023. His previous roles include Additional Secretary, Director, Secretary, Additional Director, District Magistrate, Commissioner, Managing Director, Joint CEO, Additional District Magistrate, Sub Divisional Officer, Assistant Collector and Magistrate, and IAS Probationer. He is proficient in English
