Puneet Agarwal, born on 23 July 1974, is a 1998 batch IAS officer of the Tripura cadre. He holds a B.Tech. and an M.P.A. from Syracuse University. Currently, he serves as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, New Delhi. His extensive career includes roles such as Chief Electoral Officer, Director, Commissioner, Additional District Magistrate, Secretary to Government, District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Secretary, and Principal Secretary to Government. He is proficient in Bengali, English, and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
