Punam, an IAS officer of the 2005 Rajasthan cadre, was born on August 5, 1976. She holds a B.E. degree from Patna University. Currently serving as the Divisional Commissioner at Jaipur since February 3, 2025, she is part of the Sanskrit Education Department. Throughout her career, she has held various positions including Secretary to Government, Commissioner, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Director, Project Director, Deputy Secretary to Government, District Collector and District Magistrate, Under Secretary, Divisional Officer, and Assistant Collector. She is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
