Punam, an IAS officer of the 2005 Rajasthan cadre, was born on August 5, 1976. She holds a B.E. degree from Patna University. Throughout her career, she has served in various capacities including Divisional Commissioner, Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Divisional Officer, Assistant Collector, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Director, Project Director, District Collector and District Magistrate, Secretary to Government, and Commissioner. Currently, she is the Secretary at Rajasthan's Women and Child Development Department, a position she has held since March 20, 2026. She is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
