His previous roles include Joint Secretary, Commissioner (Departmental Enquiries), Secretary to Government, Deputy Commissioner - District Magistrate, Mission Director, Settlement Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Sub Divisional Officer, and Assistant Collector. Dr. Yashvant is proficient in English, Hindi, and Kannada. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
