Prem Singh Mehra, born on 21 February 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1987 Rajasthan cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Political Science and a graduate degree in English. Over his career, he has held numerous positions including State Election Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Chairman, Managing Director, Secretary, Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, Administrator, Deputy Secretary, District Collector and District Magistrate, Director, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent role was as State Election Commissioner of Rajasthan, commencing on 3 July 2017. He served in the Directorate of Education department during his tenure.
