Prem Shankar, born on 15 October 1933, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds postgraduate qualifications in Physics, and graduate degrees in Chemistry and Law. During his career, he served in various capacities including Deputy Commissioner, Joint Secretary, and Director. His most recent position was Director in the Department of Corporate Affairs from 1 July 1990 to 1 October 1991.
