His past roles include Director, Managing Director, Additional Chief Electoral Officer, District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer, Secretary, Housing Commissioner, Additional Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer, Additional District Magistrate, Sub Collector, and Assistant Secretary. He is proficient in Tamil and Malayalam and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
