Prem Kumar Taneja, born on 05 February 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Gujarat cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Electronics. Over his career, he served in various capacities including Director, Principal Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, Commissioner, Joint Managing Director, Managing Director, Joint Secretary, Private Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Municipal Commissioner, District Collector, and District Development Officer. His most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary in the Industries and Mines Department at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, starting from 13 August 2016.
