Preeti Sudan, an IAS officer of the 1983 Andhra Pradesh cadre batch, was born on April 30, 1960. She holds a B.A. Honours in English, an M.A. in Economics, and a postgraduate degree in Social Policies & Planning from the UK. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Secretary, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, Commissioner & E/O Secretary, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Director, District Collector, Deputy Commissioner, Joint Collector, Managing Director, Under Secretary, Sub Collector, and Assistant Collector. Her most recent position was Secretary in the Health and Family Welfare Department from February 3 to March 10, 2018. She is now retired.
