Pravir Krishna, a 1987 batch IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, was born on December 7, 1961. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector, Additional Collector, Planning Officer, SDO, Special Officer, Joint Secretary, Director, Managing Director, and Principal Secretary. His most recent position was Managing Director at the Tribal Affairs Tribal Co-op Marketing Development Federation of India Ltd (TRIFED), Ministry of Tribal Affairs, New Delhi, from October 22, 2019, to December 31, 2021. He is now retired from the Indian Administrative Service.
