Pravin Chindu Darade, born on 15 June 1968, is a 1998 batch IAS officer of the Maharashtra cadre. He holds an M.Tech in Structural Engineering from IIT Bombay and a B.E. in Civil Engineering from the University of Pune. Currently serving as Principal Secretary in the Co-operation, Marketing and Textiles Department of Maharashtra since 4 February 2025, Darade has held various positions including Additional Commissioner, Secretary to Chief Minister, District Collector, and Commissioner. He has been recognized with awards such as Metro Man of the Year (2018, 2019) and Infrastructure Icon Award for his work on Mumbai Metro projects. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
