Pravin Chindu Darade, born on 15 June 1968, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1998 Maharashtra cadre. He holds an M.Tech in Structural Engineering from IIT Bombay and a B.E. in Civil Engineering from the University of Pune. Currently, he serves as Principal Secretary in the Co-operation, Marketing and Textiles Department, Maharashtra, since 4 February 2025. His past roles include Principal Secretary, Secretary to Chief Minister, Chairman, District Collector, Commissioner, and Additional Municipal Commissioner. He has received the Metro Man of the Year awards in 2018 and 2019, the Infrastructure Icon Award, and recognition for the Upcoming Metro Rail Project of the Year by MMRDA.
