Praveen Kumar Kolaventy, born on April 21, 1964, is a 1990 batch IAS officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.A. degree and is proficient in English, Hindi, and Telugu. Currently serving as the Special Chief Secretary at Velagapudi since February 2, 2021, he works in the GPM and AR, General Administration Department. His extensive career includes roles such as Principal Secretary to Government, Commissioner, Managing Director, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Vice Chairperson, Project Director, and Assistant Collector. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
