Praveen Gupta, born on 19 March 1969, is a 1995 batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. He holds a B.Tech. and an M.Sc. degree. Currently, he serves as the Additional Chief Secretary at Jaipur in the Public Works Department, Rajasthan, since 1 January 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including SDM, District Collector and Magistrate, Additional Collector & CEO, Director, Chief Electoral Officer, Principal Secretary, Departmental Enquiry Commissioner, Member (Revenue), Secretary to Government, Commissioner, Special Secretary to CM, Deputy Secretary to CM, CEO, Director General, and Project Director.
