Praveen Gupta, born on 19 March 1969, is a 1995 batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. He holds a B.Tech. and M.Sc. and is currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary at Rajasthan's Public Works Department since 20 March 2026. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including CEO, Director General, Departmental Enquiry Commissioner, Member (Revenue), Secretary to Government, Commissioner, Project Director, Chief Electoral Officer, Principal Secretary, Collector and District Magistrate, and Special Secretary to the Chief Minister. He has been recognized for strengthening e-Governance in the state. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
