Prateek Jain, born on 25 July 1993, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2018 batch, Uttarakhand cadre. Currently, he serves as Commissioner at the Commercial Taxes Department, Uttarakhand, since 23 May 2026. His previous roles include Managing Director, District Magistrate, Joint Magistrate, and Officer Trainee. He has been recognized for exceptional rescue and relief efforts during the October 2021 flash floods and for his work in COVID management.
